To advance the study of psychoanalytic epistemology, theory, practice, ethics, and education within a psychological framework consisting of philosophy, the arts, and the anthropic sciences as opposed to biology, medicine, and the natural sciences. The Academy accepts papers and articles that support its Mission of rethinking psychoanalysis as being outside of a medical model.

Based in Manchester and operating mainly within this city, Another Product consists of two artist-curators - Dawn Woolley and James Moore. Each show is unique - both in concept and location - as artists are invited to produce work around a specific theme or idea chosen by the curators. The resulting shows are highly site specific and offer a first rate opportunity to see cutting edge art work from practitioners based all around the UK.

CLiC is a platform for both researchers from the Jan van Eyck Academy (Theory Department) and researchers outside the Academy. Its objective is to stimulate studies in Lacanian ideology critique, to organize seminars and colloquia, and to set up publications.

ELIZA has almost no intelligence whatsoever, only tricks like string substitution and canned responses based on keywords. Yet when the original ELIZA first appeared in the 60's, some people actually mistook her for human. The illusion of intelligence works best, however, if you limit your conversation to talking about yourself and your life.

The Freecycle Network is made up of many individual groups across the globe. It's a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (& getting) stuff for free in their own towns. Each local group is moderated by a local volunteer (them's good people). Membership is free. The Freecycle Network was started in May 2003 to promote waste reduction in Tucson's downtown and help save desert landscape from being taken over by landfills. An open forum that deals with every aspect of health and social care and allows free discussion and information sharing between people with different perspectives and experience.

NSK State is the web project about The State of NSK and the groups that comprise the NSK (Neue Slowenische Kunst) art collective. nskstate.com is created and maintained by NSK citizens and friends. Art is fanaticism that demands diplomacy.

Simple safe Quaker run accommodation in London. Located in Central London, just off Russell Square in historic Bloomsbury, the Club is within easy walking distance of the British Museum, Covent Garden, British Library, Friends House, Great Ormond Street Hospital, SOAS and the LSE.
